I let Virginia Tech squeak in.</p> <p>Let’s assume a 12 team tourney although this year a 16 team one would be much cooler. I’ve heard 8 as well but it’s my blog post. I’m assuming you lop one cupcake off each teams schedule.</p> <p>—1 Oregon  (First round bye)</p> <p>8 Ohio State</p> <p>9 Oklahoma State</p> <p>—4 TCU (First round bye)</p> <p>5 LSU</p> <p>12 Missouri</p> <p>—2 Auburn (First round bye)</p> <p>7 Wisconsin</p> <p>10 Arkansas</p> <p>—3 Boise State (First round bye)</p> <p>6 Stanford</p> <p>11 Virginia Tech</p> <p>Imagine the possibilities.</p> <p>An Auburn vs Arkansas possible rematch or a Wisconsin team that could run the ball, manage the clock and beat both teams consecutively.</p> <p>A Boise St vs Virginia Tech rematch.</p> <p>Maybe an LSU vs Oregon matchup— intriguing.</p> <p>I’m thinking a Boise St vs Oregon fireworks display for the championship.
