Tickets to Black Bear Jamoboree, Dollywood, The Chinese Acrobats, Comedy Barn, and hundreds of other venues while in Gatlinburg, TN?
I have been down this road before. I love Gatlinburg and could go every year. I’m not such a fan of the lurkers on the strip. They pop out of little holes in the wall or from behind little counters and they tell you about all this free stuff you can get.
From past experience here is all you have to do to fulfill your obligations and walk away with your tickets.
Get up early in the morning and drive to a new development of condos. Once there you will sit in a waiting room for 30 minutes or so and drink bad coffee.
Then you will be herded into a large presentation room with others strangers.
A gentleman with lots of jewelry and hair gel, wearing a pin strip suit will tell you how great timeshare or points vacationing is. He will tell you all about the facilities for an hour or so.
Then another guy, we’ll call him good cop, will take you around the grounds and give you a tour of the rooms.
Then after this 45 minute tour you will head back to the presentation room. The Glengarry Glen Ross salesman will now make you an offer. After you ask a few concilliatory questions, he will act interested but scan the room for more hot prospects who can be closed quickly.
He will send you off to a table where the offer will be spiced up a bit and the price dropped.
Then you will have to say no several times to about 4 different closers.
The good cop.
The bad cop.
The buddy guy.
The get out of my face you’re wasting my time guy.
Finally another guy will give you those free tickets to Black Bear Jamboree. The show was very good a few years ago. Next time I’ll pay the $100 bucks and keep my 4 hours in the morning.
